External Wall Insulation
External or ‘solid’ insulation, as it is also known, is the most cost effective and comprehensive means of insulating your home or business against Ireland’s unfavourable weather conditions. External Wall Insulation is fixed to the exterior of your home or business and is then rendered with an aesthetically pleasing and protective coating which will help to extend the lifetime of the exterior of your home or business.
One of the main advantages of this type of insulation is the manner in which it is fixed to the exterior walls of the building so it does not affect the size of your living space. This method of insulation also adds aesthetic appeal to your home through its smooth finish to walls and ceilings. Grant funding is available for dry-lining insulation if your home was built prior to 2006.
